The following is recent activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office:

Thursday, July 30, 2020:

– 10:12 a.m., alarm activation, Hamlin Township.

– Noon, stolen kayak, 1800 block of West Hansen Road, Amber Township. The complainant reported the theft of a 2009 Water Quest 9-foot yellow kayak.

– 4:48 p.m., alarm activation, Amber Township.

– 9:37 p.m., a 25 year-old Ludington man was arrested on a probation violation warrant out of Mason County, 2000 block of North Jebavy Drive, Hamlin Township.

Friday, July 31, 2020:

– 4:41 p.m., larceny of a lawnmower, 3900 block of Kistler Road, Riverton Township.

– 10:20 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of Meisenheimer Road overpass, Summit Township.

Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020:

– 6:53 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road north of Manales Road, Victory Township.

– 8:01 a.m., gas drive-off, $36.13 in fuel stolen, Airport EZ Mart, 5400 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.

– 9:45 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Johnson and Bean roads, Custer Township.

– 11:30 a.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Stiles Road, Amber Township..

– 12:26 p.m., gas drive-off, $13 in fuel stolen, Airport EZ Mart, 5400 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.

– 9:21 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Johnson Road east of Brye Road, Amber Township.

Sunday, Aug. 2, 2020:

– 6:40 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Gibson Road, Branch Township.

– 10:47 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Stiles Road south of Sugar Grove Road, Victory Township.

– 11:45 p.m., ​a 37-year-old Branch woman was arrested on four outstanding warrants following a traffic stop, Custer Road and First Street, Custer Township. The warrants charged are three civil warrants for Friend of the Court out of Ionia County and one criminal bench warrant out of Kentwood Police Department.
