LUDINGTON — The Ludington Police Department is seeking charges against a 69-year-old Ludington woman for stealing flowers from a residential yard in 200 block of East Foster Street.

LPD received the complaint just before 8 a.m. Monday, July 22, that the woman was “meandering through” the yard and picking flowers, said Ludington Police Chief Timothy Kozal.

The case will be presented to Mason County Prosecutor’s Office.

The following is other LPD activity Monday, July 27, 2020:

– 9:23 a.m., domestic dispute investigation, no assault, ​Washington Avenue and Second​ Street, City of Ludington.

– 11:19 a.m.​, suspicious situation – unfounded, 300 block of East Dowland Street, City of Ludington. ​

– 11:43 a.m., ​​ordinance violation, 700 block of East Danaher Street, City of Ludington. Contact was made with the owner and was advised of the violation. Corrective measures will be taken for compliance.

– 1:53 p.m., car/deer crash, ​Bryant and Harrison​ streets, City of Ludington.

– 1:56 p.m., domestic violence investigation, ​500 block of East Dowland​ Street, City of Ludington. The suspect is an 18-year-old Ludington woman. The case will be presented to the prosecutor’s office for review.

– 5:45 p.m.​, domestic violence investigation, 900 block of East Maple Street​, City of Ludington. The suspect is a 15-year-old male juvenile. The case will be forwarded to prosecutor’s office for review.

– 10:08 p.m., loud music, ordinance violation, 200 block of West Loomis​ Street, City of Ludington. The subject turned down music/no further issues.
