The following is Mason County Sheriff’s Office activity over the weekend:

Friday, July 24, 2020:

– 7:24 a.m., one-vehicle crash, no injury, 5400 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township. The case remains under investigation as the driver left the scene.

– 11:10 a.m., car/deer crash, minor injury, US 31 south of Hoague Road, Free Soil Township. A 77-year-old Mears man received minor injuries.

– 6:12 p.m., two-vehicle crash, minor injury, Fountain Road east of Stephens Road, Sherman Township. A 36-year-old Fountain woman received minor injuries after the vehicle she was operating rear-ended a tractor in the road.

Saturday, July 25, 2020:

– 1:10 a.m., warrant arrest, 900 block of North Rath Avenue, City of Ludington. A 23 year-old Scottville man was arrested on two outstanding misdemeanor warrants out of the Ludington Police Department for charges of domestic violence and damaged property following a call reporting a suspicious person.

– 6:34 a.m., a 28-year-old Scottville man was arrested for third-offense operating while intoxicated (OWI) and second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) after the vehicle he was operating struck a tree, no injury, 7300 block of South Lakeshore Drive, Summit Township.

– 12:45 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road south of Chauvez Road, Eden Township.

– 12:53 p.m., retail fraud, Walmart, 4800 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.

– 1:38 p.m., car/motorcycle crash, minor injury, US 10 east of Brye Road, Amber Township. A 64-year-old Midland woman received minor injuries after the motorcycle she was riding collided with a vehicle that had turned left into the motorcycle’s path. She was treated at the scene.

– 2:11 p.m., a 55 year-old Fountain man was arrested for aggravated assault following a disturbance, 5800 block of North Benson Road, Sheridan Township.

10:18 p.m., alarm activation, Sherman Township.

Sunday, July 26, 2020:

– 1:02 a..m., a 51-year-old Indianapolis, Indiana man was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant charging third-offense OWI out of Muskegon County after the vehicle he was operating failed to negotiate the westbound US 10 off-ramp from northbound US 31, left the road and rolled over, no injury, Amber Township.

– 5:40 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Decker Road east of Jebavy Drive, Hamlin Township.

– 9:37 a.m., bicycle/vehicle crash, minor injury, Ludington State Park, Hamlin Township. A 66-year-old Memphis, Tennessee man received minor injuries after he struck the back of a parked vehicle. He was treated at the scene.
