US 31 to be closed from Sugar Grove to Scottville, July 7. 

Beginning Tuesday, July 7, US 31 will be closed between US 10 and Sugar Grove Road. The $2.4 million resurfacing and drainage improvement project is currently in phase 2, which takes place between US 10 and North Scottville Road (also known as the Scottville By-Pass). The by-pass will remain closed during the third phase, which extends the project to Sugar Grove Road. Total length of the project is 3.74 miles.

The detour route for southbound traffic will be Sugar Grove Road west to Stiles Road and Stiles Road south to US-10/31. The northbound detour will be the reverse. The project will be complete in mid to late August.
