3 injured following US 10/31 crash.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — Three people were injured following a two vehicle crash on US 10/31 east of Brye Road Thursday afternoon. The crash occurred when a Jeep Compass attempted to make a left-hand turn out of the eastern Meijer store parking lot, and drove into the path of a westbound Ford Taurus. The two occupants of the Jeep and the occupant of the Taurus were all transported by ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital. Information about their ages, city of residency or condition was not immediately available following the crash.

Emergency personnel, including Michigan State Police, Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Pere Marquette Township Fire Department, Ludington Fire Department, and Life EMS, were dispatched about 4:50 p.m. to the scene. US 10/31 was closed during the crash.
