WSCC Muddy Fox Trot 5k cancelled.

VICTORY TOWNSHIP — West Shore Community College’s Muddy Fox Trot will take a hiatus for one year after organizers decided to cancel the race due to ongoing concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.

The sixth annual family-friendly 5K mud run, with a boot camp style obstacle course, was scheduled for July 18, on the college’s campus. The fun run annually benefits the WSCC Foundation student scholarship fund.

“This is not the news we wanted to share with the community, but after careful deliberation, we believe this is the responsible action to take in order to keep everyone safe during the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic,” said Julie Page Smith, director of the college’s Wellness Center and an organizer of the race. “We are already looking forward to offering a muddy challenge to area runners in July 2021.”

Questions about refunds or cancellation of the race may be directed to Smith at jsmith@westshore.edu.
