Driver injured in PM Highway rollover.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP — A 66-year-old Ludington woman was injured Thursday morning, Feb. 13,  following a single vehicle crash. The crash occurred on Pere Marquette Highway. Emergency personnel were dispatched at 10:36 a.m. According to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole, the woman was driving on PM Highway between Conrad and Iris roads when her vehicle lost control on the icy road, ran off the road and then overturned. 

She was transported by ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. 

Emergency units dispatched to the incident included Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Pere Marquette Township Fire Department, and Ludington Fire Department. 

Sheriff’s deputies responded to three other crashes on Thursday: 

  • 8:04 a.m., two vehicle crash, no injuries, Jebavy Drive and Rasmussen Road, Pere Marquette Township. 
  • 1:42 p.m., two vehicle crash, minor injuries, Dewey Road west of Sherman Road, Hamlin Township. 
  • 5:20 p.m., two vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10/31 and Brye Road, Amber Township.
