Suspect arrested on 7 warrants as police crack down on fugitives.

MASON COUNTY — Local law enforcement arrested five suspects on warrants Thursday, Feb. 6, and one fugitive had seven outstanding charges.

The Hart post of the Michigan State Police arrested a 28-year-old Ludington man who had the seven warrants Thursday at 5 p.m. in the 3000 block of US 31 in Victory Township, according to Trooper Kelsey Case.

The following are the other warrant arrests that occurred Thursday:

– 4:40 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), ​a 21-year-old Redford, Michigan man was arrested on two outstanding Mason County warrants on charges of delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance and maintaining a drug house, City of Ludington.

– 8:33 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 28-year-old homeless man was arrested on a bench warrant issued in Mason County, 300 block of North Delia Street, City of Ludington.

– 9:30 p.m., (MCSO), a 29-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding Mason County warrant for failure to appear, 4800 block of Kistler Road, Riverton Township.

– 11:12 p.m., ​(MCSO), a 28-year-old Ludington woman was arrested on a misdemeanor Mason County warrant following a traffic stop, US 10 and Brye Road, Amber Township.
