79th District Court sentencings, posted Jan. 15, 2020.

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Anna Lee Cosme, 43, of 44 N. 88th St., Apt. 10, Hart, pleaded guilty Jan. 14 to operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to 33 days in jail with credit for three days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; must attend AA two times per week; no drugs/alcohol/marijuana/controlled substances; subject tor random PBTs and drug tests; must continue current counseling program; and $1,195 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS).

-Daniel Edward Rushlow, 43, of 148 N. Gordon Rd., Amber Township, pleaded guilty Jan. 14 to driving while license suspended and driving without a cycle endorsement and was sentenced to ten days in jail with credit for ten days served; one year discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol/marijuana; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; must continue current counseling program; and $645 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. Additional charges of second offense driving while license suspended and driving without a cycle endorsement were dismissed.

-Christopher Deshawn Armstrong, 22, of 102 E. Filer St., Apt. 1, Ludington, pleaded guilty Jan. 14 to selling/furnishing alcohol to a minor and was sentenced to 60 days discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol/marijuana/controlled substances; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; must continue current counseling program and $360 in fines/costs.

-Alexis Mariah Frappier, 25, of 708  Fifth St., Apt. 1, Ludington, pleaded guilty Jan. 14 to attempted third degree retail fraud and was sentenced to 45 days discretionary jail for one year and $360 in fines/costs.

-Thomas Owen Myer, 37, of 3847 W. Conrad Rd., Amber Township, pleaded guilty Jan. 14 to operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; must obtain Soberlink for six months; must attend AA two times per week for one year; no alcohol/drugs/marijuana/controlled substances; subject to random PBTs; must attend substance use disorder program; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

 

Dismissals

-Casey Lee Lloyd, 29, of 7389 E. Hansen Rd., Branch Township, had a charge of domestic violence dismissed without prejudice on Jan. 10 by the prosecuting attorney. According to court records, “People cannot prove element of intent beyond a reasonable doubt.”
