VICTORY TOWNSHIP — A 44-year-old Scottville man was arrested after allegedly making threats with a knife and fleeing from Mason County sheriff’s deputies Sunday, Dec. 29, shortly before noon in the 3900 block of North Stiles Road, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Deputies responded to the scene following a 911 call reporting “an intoxicated subject with a knife making threats,” Cole said. “He fled from the house into a wooded area behind the home he was living in. He was located with thermal imagining equipment and then reportedly fought with deputies.”

The suspect was charged with assaulting/resisting/obstructing police.
