Primary Election petitions available.
LUDINGTON — Petitions are now available for candidates seeking to have their names placed on the Aug. 4, 2020 Primary Election ballot. Candidates of the Democratic or Republican parties can seek their respective party nomination during the August Primary Election in order to be considered for election on the November General Election ballot.
County officer and county commissioner candidates can pick up the materials at the Mason County Clerk’s Office in the Mason County Courthouse, 304 E. Ludington Ave.
Individuals desiring to be township officer candidates need to contact their township clerk.
The filing deadline for partisan offices to be considered for nomination on the Primary Election ballot is April 21, 2020 at 4 p.m. Withdrawal deadline is at 4 p.m. on April 24, 2020.
Those wishing to run for offices in the cities of Ludington or Scottville should contact their respective clerk about election information.
