The Scoop: Ludington Schools’ Giving Tree

LUDINGTON — Today on MCP’s The Scoop, Kate Krieger-Watkins speaks with Ludington High School Counselor Laura Powers and Mason County Family Link Community School Coordinator Amanda Kuczynski about Ludington Area School District’s Giving Tree program. The Giving Tree program was created in 2017, through the efforts of LASD school counselors and the Mason County Family Link to better coordinate the various individual school programs into one district wide program that covers students from pre-k through high school. The Giving Tree, along with the county-wide Shop with a Cop/Shop with a Hero program, serve to help area families over the holiday season.
