Aggravated domestic assault arrest tops police activity.

SHERMAN TOWNSHIP – The victim of a domestic violence incident that occurred shortly after 1 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, in the 6700 block of North Claeys Drive was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

A 38-year-old Westland, Michigan man was arrested for aggravated domestic violence.

The following is other police activity in Mason County Monday, Nov. 25, 2019:

– 3:14 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Brye Road, Amber Township.

– 9:03 a.m., (MCSO), a 26-year-old Branch man was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant out of Lake County following a 911 call reporting a disturbance, 8900 block of East US 10, Branch Township.

– 12:39 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 14-year-old Ludington male juvenile was apprehended for second-offense minor in possession of alcohol, 500 block of North Washington Avenue, City of Ludington.

– 1:46 p.m., (LPD), a 24-year-old Ludington man was arrested on a Mason County warrant for failure to appear, 200 block of North Lavinia Street, City of Ludington.

– 6:02 p.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $58.10 in fuel stolen, Airport EZ Mart, 5400 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
