Sex crimes top 79th District Court arraignments

LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

Wilson

-Ricky Todd Wilson, 24, homeless, was arrested Nov. 6 by the Ludington Police Department (LPD) on felony charges of third degree criminal sexual conduct (victim between 13-16 years old) and habitual offender supplemental warrant. Probable cause hearing: Nov. 20 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $10,000 cash/surety.

Steiger

-Jeffrey Lee Steiger, 32, of 17320 Laketon Ave., Casnovia, was arrested June 30 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on three felony counts of child abusive commercial activity. Probable cause hearing: Nov. 20 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $10,000 cash/surety.

Totten

-Donnie Ray Totten, 24, no address listed, was arrested Nov. 7 by MCSO on a felony charge of assault/resisting/obstructing police. Probable cause hearing: Nov. 20 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $10,000 cash/surety.

Bothwell

-Daniel Lee Bothwell, 42, of 321 S. James St., Apt. 1, Ludington, was arrested Sept. 2 by Michigan State Police (MSP) on a felony charge of third offense domestic violence. Probable cause hearing: Nov. 20 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $7,500/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

-Laura Lynne Keely, 53, of 6319 Outer Loop Dr., Logan Township; Nov. 9; MSP; assault and battery. Pretrial: Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Brooke Kristine Malliett, 34, of 4940 N. Jebavy Dr., Hamlin Township; Oct. 27; LPD; operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI). Pretrial: Nov. 18 at 1 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Christine Anne Day, 27, of 6537 E. Glenn Ln., Sheridan Township; Nov. 7; MCSO; harboring misdemeanants. Pretrial: Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-William Edward Rogers, Jr., 19, of 6191 E. US 10, Branch Township; Nov. 7; MCSO; failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance). Pretrial: Dec. 2 at 1 p.m. Bail: $1,500 personal recognizance.

-Curtis Allen Hoek, 59, of 2023 E. Sugargrove Rd., Sherman Township; Nov. 7; MCSO; driving while license suspended. Pretrial: Dec. 2 at 9 a.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.
