Vehicle flees scene after injuring Scottville man.

EDEN TOWNSHIP — A 46-year-old Scottville man was injured Sunday evening following a two-vehicle crash at Scottville and Hawley roads. According to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole, the crash was reported at 9:09 p.m. The 46-year-old man was traveling on Scottville Road when his vehicle was struck by another vehicle that was traveling on Hawley Road and failed to stop at the stop sign. The vehicle then fled the scene.

The driver of the vehicle that was struck was transported by ambulance to Spectrum Health Ludington Hospital where he was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to Cole.

Units responded to the scene included Mason County Sheriff’s Office, Life EMS, and Riverton Township Fire Department.
