Halloween events planned for downtown Ludington.

LUDINGTON — Several events are planned in downtown Ludington on Saturday, Oct. 26 in observation of Halloween. Those events include:

  • Run for Your Lives 5k/10k: Register at Ludington Pub, 209 S. James St. Registration/packet pickup between 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Races start at 9 a.m. at James and Court streets.
  • Safe Harbor Credit Union Costume Parade: Begins at Mason County Courthouse, Ludington Avenue and Rowe Street at 1:45 p.m. and ends at James Street. Other activities include trick-or-treat bag give-away and Halloween games from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
  • Downtown trick-or-treat: 2 to 4 p.m.
  • Trick-or-Treat After Party, Mason County District Library, Ludington branch, 4 to 5 p.m. Free.
  • Spooky Slow Roll, presented by Shoreline Cycling Club of West Michigan, 6:30 p.m. Meet in James Street Plaza. Costumes are not mandatory; prizes will be awarded for best costumes. Free.
  • Ludrock’s Night of Fright, Ludington Area Center for the Arts, 107 S. Harrison. Live music, costume contest, food and beverages available for purchase. $5 admission.
