PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP – Mason County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 32-year-old Scottville woman following a traffic stop Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 7:30 p.m. for ​operating with a high blood alcohol content (BAC) on southbound US 31 near Pere Marquette Highway, said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The suspect’s BAC was .20, Cole said. She was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

Other police activity in Mason County Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019 includes:

– 1:38 a.m., (Michigan State Police), a 55-year-old Ludington man was arrested for making threatening communications, 4000 block of US 10, Pere Marquette Township.

– 9:33 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 55-year-old Ludington man was cited for improper plates, 200 block of East Ludington Avenue, City of Ludington.

– 9:40 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 north of Sugar Grove Road, Sherman Township.

– 2:30 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle rollover crash, no injury, Hansen Road east of Tuttle Road, Custer Township.

– 5:28 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Custer Road north of Beyer Road, Sherman Township.

– 5:57 p.m., (LPD), a 36-year-old Muskegon man was transported from the Muskegon County Jail to the Mason County jail for a bench warrant from 79th District Court for failure to appear, City of Ludington.
