79th District Court sentencings and dismissals, posted Oct. 3, 2019

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Michael Anthony Molina, 23, of 603 S. Washington Ave., Ludington, pleaded guilty Sept. 17 to second offense operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI) and larceny by conversion. He was sentenced to 58 days in jail with credit for 28 days served; one year discretionary jail for two years; 100 hours of community service for a $1000 credit towards fines/costs; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol/marijuana; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; must seek and maintain employment; must obtain substance use disorder program; and $2,784 in fines/costs/restitution. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS). 

-Aiden Scott Hegg, 23, of 200 W. Ludington Ave., Ludington, pleaded guilty Sept. 24 to second offense OWI and was sentenced to 32 days in jail with credit for two days served; one year discretionary jail for two years; must attend victim’s impact panel; must obtain Soberlink for two years; no drugs/alcohol/marijuana/controlled substances; must attend AA two times per week for two years; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; must report for a review hearing in 60 days; must attend substance use disorder program; and $1,525 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Andrew Edwin Beeker, 59, of 234 Sherwood Pl., Costa Mesa, California, pleaded guilty Sept. 24 to operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor (OUIL) and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS. A charge of refusing a preliminary breath test was dismissed.

-Trista Jo Padron, 34, of 603 N. Harrison St., Ludington, pleaded guilty Oct. 1 to breaking and entering and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $595 in fines/costs. A charge of malicious destruction of personal property was dismissed.

-John Herman Rockrohr, 69, of 201 Scott St., Scottville, pleaded guilty Oct. 1 to disorderly person jostling and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and $285 in fines/costs. A charge of domestic violence was dismissed.

-Daniel James Ruble, 48, of 14168 Potter Ave., Bear Lake, pleaded guilty Sept. 24 to disorderly person jostling and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; must have an anger management evaluation; and $285 in fines/costs. A charge of second offense domestic violence was dismissed.

-Pamela Ann Brubaker, 61, of 7175 Catherine Ave., Branch Township, pleaded guilty Sept. 24 to embezzlement by an agent/trustee and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; one year discretionary jail for one year; and $1,227.78 in fines/costs/restitution. A charge of larceny in a building was dismissed.

-Chassy Renee Lawson, 29, of 1188 Pineway, Ludington, pleaded no contest Sept. 24 to attempted resisting/obstructing/assaulting police and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; one year discretionary jail for one year; must perform 42 hours of community service within six months; must have substance abuse evaluation; no drugs/alcohol/marijuana; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $595 in fines/costs.

-Curt Douglas York, 48, of 103 W. Haight St., Ludington, pleaded guilty Oct. 1 to driving while license suspended and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $745 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.  Charges of improper plates and failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance) was dismissed.

 

Dismissals

-Matthew John Kuligoski, 33, of 3521 32nd St., Hamilton, Michigan, had a charge of contributing to the delinquency of children dimissed without prejudice on Sept 25 after pleading guilty to another charge.

-Timothy Dale Busscher, 62, of 3054 104th Ave., Zeeland, had charges of improper plates, failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance) and operating an unregistered vehicle dismissed without prejudice on Sept. 24 after pleading guilty to a lesser charge.

-Kenneth Louis Dooley, 34, of 1045 Cedar St., Idlewild, had a charge of second offense operating while license suspended dismissed without prejudice on Sept. 24 after pleading guilty to a lesser charge.

-Ariana Kay Bayer, 20, of 407 E. Foster St., Ludington, had a charge of failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance) dismissed without prejudice on Sept. 24 after pleading guilty to a civil infraction.

-John Michael Cuellar, 28, of 303 Fifth St., Apt. 6, Manistee, had a charge of failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance) dismissed without prejudice on Sept. 24 after pleading guilty to a civil infraction.

-Quinten Tyler Barnhart, 20, homeless, had a charge of failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance) dismissed without prejudice on Sept. 24 after pleading guilty to count two.

-Fredrick Arthur Collins, 62, of 6854 W. Sugar Grove Rd., Hamlin Township, had a charge of failure to maintain security (no vehicle insurance) dismissed without prejudice on Sept. 30.
