Felonious assault tops police activity.

SCOTTVILLE – A felonious assault was reported Tuesday, Oct. 1, shortly before 6:30 p.m. in the 100 block of State Street, according to Michigan State Police Trooper Kelsey Case.

The incident involved a 15-year-old Scottville boy and a 52-year-old Scottville man. The man received a minor injury, Case said. No arrests were made.

Monday, Sept. 30, 2019:

– 12:21 p.m., (MSP), malicious destruction of property – damaged crops, 3000 block of Pere Marquette highway, Summit Township.

Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019:

– 7 p.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injuries, Reek Road, near Sugargrove Road, Sherman Township.
