Man arrested after ‘stumbling in and out of traffic’ on US 10.

AMBER TOWNSHIP – A 19-year-old Fountain man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, minor in possession of alcohol and possession of Xanax following a report of a subject “stumbling in and out of traffic” on US 10 near Dennis Road Satruday, Sept. 21, shortly before 8 a.m., according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The following is other police activity over the weekend:

Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019:

– 3:48 p.m., (Michigan State Police), two-vehicle crash, no injuries, US 10 and Nelson Road, Pere Marquette Township.

Friday, Sept. 20, 2019:

– 9:42 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), illegal dumping, 1500 block of North Dennis Road, Amber Township. The victim reported a couch was dumped on his property.

– 3:45 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Meyers Road, Amber Township.

– 9:30 p.m., (MSP), assault, under investigation, 5000 block of Sippy Road, Branch Township.

Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019:

– 7:34 a.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle crash, with injury, Stiles Road north of Fountain Road, Victory Township. Caeden Price, 20, of Irons was arrested for operating while intoxicated as a result, Cole said. Price, who was the lone occupant of the vehicle, was northbound on Stiles Road when his vehicle crossed the centerline; ran into the ditch on the west side of Stiles Road; and struck a large tree stump.

– 10:59 a.m., (MCSO), damaged property, 4800 block of East Free Soil Road, Free Soil Township. Graffiti was reportedly painted on the walls of the Old Free Soil Camp Sauble Prison. The case remains under investigation.

– 4:09 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, Victory Township.

– 5:29 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 17-year-old Ludington man was cited for operating without insurance, Sixth and Jefferson streets, City of Ludington.

Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019:

– 12:30 a.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, Pere Marquette and Lattin roads, Summit Township.

– 10:58 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, Wilson and Beech roads, Hamlin Township.

– 12:50 p.m., (MSP), two-vehicle crash, US 31 and Fountain roads, Sherman Township.
