Ludington council to seek comments on marijuana establishments tonight.

LUDINGTON — City Council will hold a committee of the whole meeting tonight at Ludington Area Center for the Arts, 107 S. Harrison St., to seek public input on whether the city should allow recreational marijuana establishments within the city limits. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.

Those with public comment should attend the meeting.

The ad hoc committee assigned with the task of researching the topic is expected to be officially dissolved during the Monday, Sept. 23 meeting of city council. Mayor Steve Miller is requesting the council to vote on a resolution on the topic during the Monday, Oct. 14 meeting.
