Obituary: Marilyn Moomey, 88, Ludington.

Marilyn Grace Moomey, 88, of Ludington, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019 while anxiously awaiting her heavenly home, where she could be with Jesus and her husband, Bob.

Marilyn was born on December 9, 1930 in Ludington, the daughter of Charles and Leah (Lawton) Shue.  She was a full time mother and worked in sales and customer service for many years throughout her life. Marilyn was a loving and caring mother and caregiver.  She loved to travel and spent the winters in Florida.  

Marilyn is survived by her children, Don Smith, Jan (Ed) Quinn, Bev (Scott) Hooker, Joanne (Dave) Sowders, and Larry (Lynne) Smith; stepchildren, Donna (Dave) Boulton, Robert (Penny) Moomey Jr., and April (Mike) Starlin; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Robert Moomey; parents, Charles and Leah Shue; siblings, Margaret (Charles) Warner and Charles Shue; her grandson, Michael Smith; and daughter-in-law, Vicki Smith.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
