Deputy captures fleeing suspect.

HAMLIN TOWNSHIP – A 41-year-old Ludington woman who ran from a Mason County sheriff’s deputy Sunday, Sept. 1, shortly after 5 p.m. in the 6900 block of West Jackson Road was arrested on a two-count felony warrant for second-degree home invasion and larceny from a building, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“During the arrest, when the suspect spotted the deputy she fled on foot but was captured following a foot chase,” Cole said.

The felony charges stem from a break-in reported Aug. 18.
