PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP – A 43-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting and obstructing a police officer, and a 39-year-old Ludington man was arrested for resisting and obstructing a police officer and bond violation Tuesday, Aug. 27, shortly after 10 p.m. at 143 North Jebavy Drive following several 911 calls reporting “yelling and glass breaking,” said Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

“Deputies arrived and noticed clothing scattered about a lawn and stairwell in an apartment complex,” Cole said. “A female was arrested related to the call and fought with deputies during the arrest. A 39-year-old Ludington man was also arrested for resisting and obstructing and bond violation during the incident when he ran from deputies into an apartment. He was found hiding in a bedroom and also had been drinking, which is a violation of his bond.”
