ATV crash, counterfeit money investigation among police activity.

The following is recent police activity in Mason County:

Monday, Aug. 19, 2019:

– 12:58 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Masten Road south of Hawley Road, Logan Township.

– 2:50 p.m., ​(MCSO), a 42 year-old Fountain woman was arrested on an outstanding Mason County Friend of the Court warrant, 3900 block of East Main Street, Village of Fountain.

– 2:58 p.m., (MCSO), assault, Ludington State Park M 116, Hamlin Township. The case is being turned over to the Mason County Prosecutor’s Office for review.

– 9:30 p.m., (MCSO), one-vehicle ATV crash, minor injuries, Campbell Road north of Millerton Road, Sheridan Township.

Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019:

– 1:32 p.m., (Michigan State Police), a 52-year-old Fountain man was arrested for second-offense driving while license suspended, US 10 and Maple Road, Branch Township.

– 9:28 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), an 18-year-old Ludington woman was cited for operating without a license.

– 11:40 p.m., (MSP), possession of counterfeit money, under investigation, 400 block of Thornwild Drive, City of Scottville.
