HAMLIN TOWNSHIP – An “undetermined amount of cash” was stolen during a breaking and entering of a residence in the 2700 block of North Lakeshore Drive Sunday, Aug. 18, around 8 p.m., according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Friday, Aug. 16, 2019:

– 3:23 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), three-vehicle crash, no injury, US 31 north of Fountain Road, Sherman Township. A 42-year-old Comstock Park, Michigan man reported to deputies he was northbound on US 31 when he fell asleep; ran off the road; and crashed into two parked vehicles in a driveway. He was cited by deputies for careless driving.

– 5:45 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Free Soil Road near Darr Road, Free Soil Township.

– 6 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Marrison Road west of Custer Road, Eden Township.

– 6:40 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Hansen Road east of Schoenherr Road, Branch Township.

– 9:35 a.m., (MCSO), a 37-year-old Ludington man was arrested on an outstanding Mason County Friend of the Court warrant following a traffic stop, US 10 and Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.

– 10:30 a.m., (Michigan State Police), larceny of a license plate, under investigation, Amber Township

– 12:42 p.m., (MCSO), a 52-year-old Ludington woman was arrested following a traffic stop for second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS), Sixth Street and Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.

– 2:30 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive north of Johnson Road, Pere Marquette Township.

– 3:13 p.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, State Street east of Main Street, City of Scottville.

– 1:55 a.m., (MCSO), a 22-year-old Ludington man was arrested for operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop, Washington and Ludington avenues, City of Ludington.

– 2:40 a.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 27-year-old Ludington man was arrested for disorderly conduct, 70 block of East Ludington Avenue,, City of Ludington.

– 1:27 p.m., (MCSO), a 38 year-old Houma, Louisiana man was arrested for DWLS following a traffic stop, US 10 and Main Street, Village of Custer.

– 2:19 p.m., (MCSO), a 29-year-old Ludington man was arrested on two outstanding criminal bench warrants from Oceana County, Walmart, 4800 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.

– 3:17 p.m., (MCSO), ​a 44-year-old Scottville man was arrested for domestic violence following a 911 call reporting an assault, 3900 block of North Stiles Road, Victory Township.

– 6:08 p.m., (LPD), a 38-year-old Rockford man was arrested for reckless driving and causing a hit-and-run crash, 1200 block of North Lakeshore Drive, City of Ludington.

– 8:04 p.m., (MCSO), a 31-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic violence following a 911 call reporting an assault, Wildwood Apartmetns, Amber Township.

– 9:31 p.m., (MCSO), a 50-year-old Ludington man was arrested for second-offense OWI following a traffic stop, State Street and Reinberg Road, City of Scottville.

Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019:

– 4:24 a.m., (LPD), a 15-year-old Ludington boy was apprehended for probation violation, 1000 block of North William Street, City of Ludington. He was transported to the Ottawa County Detention Facility where he was lodged.

– 9:23 a.m., (LPD), a 33-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic assault, 400 block of East Danaher Street, City of Ludington.

– 11:44 a.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Wealthy and Poplar streets, Village of Fountain.

– 3:32 p.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $26.25 in fuel stolen, Airport EZ Mart, 5400 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township).

– 9:23 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Chauvez Road east of Morton Road, Riverton Township.
