Sharon Cribb

Obituary: Sharon Cribb, 76, Ludington.

Sharon Kay (Cole) Cribb, 76, of Ludington, formerly of Midland, joined her loving family in Heaven on July 22, 2019. Her final days were spent surrounded by family at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.

Sharon was born October 19, 1942 in Vassar, one of 14 children to Edward and Almeda (Campbell) Cole.  She loved playing (and winning) Bingo and Cribbage, as well as going bowling and fishing, and listening to music, especially her beloved Elvis. Sharon had a large group of friends at Washington Woods in Midland.  She loved hanging out with her smokin’ buddies and her friends that she played cards with (The Girls).

Sharon had a great sense of humor and was always goofing around.  She loved cracking jokes and was determined to bring a smile to your face. Sharon was protective and outspoken; you always knew where you stood with her.  If she fondly referred to you as a “brat”, you knew that meant you were special to her. Sharon was loved by so many and will be sadly missed.

Sharon is survived by her daughters, Theresa (David) Gately, Stephanie Cribb, Pamela (Kelly) Scharich; her special son-in-law Matthew Krenzke; Nana to grandchildren, Heather and Christina Laczko, Shawna Spencer, Ashley, Brittany and Joel Krenzke, Kayla Ordiway, and Hannah and Emily Scharich; 14 great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry, Gary, Robert and Dennis; and Auntie Sharon to several nieces and nephews, who were so important and special to her.  She also leaves behind the father of her children, Bill Cribb; as well as her dear friends, who she considered to be family, Penny and Jerry McRoberts, and their sons Joey and Danny.

Sharon was the last of the Cole women, preceded in death by her sisters, Wanda, Sandra, Deborah, Patricia, Pamela, Suzanne, and Darlene; and her brothers, Earl and Terrance.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 4 p.m. at Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington, with visitation starting at 3 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
