Quarterline Road in Grant Township closed due to wash out.

GRANT TOWNSHIP — The Mason County Road Commission is reporting that Quarterline Road between Townline and Freeman roads is washed out and is closed as of today, July 20,2019. Barricades will be placed at Townline Road and West Forest Trail.

Eric Nelson, county highway engineer, said road commission personnel are still checking other roads.

“Please use extreme caution and drive slow especially at night,” Nelson said. “Additional roads may have damage and will be posted after they are discovered.

Flooding on US 31 at the intersections of Fountain Road and Free Soil Road has decreased.
