Woman arrested for allegedly invading home while drunk.

GRANT TOWNSHIP – A 40-year-old Manistee woman was arrested Sunday, June 23, shortly after 7:30 a.m. for home invasion after breaking a window to a house in the 3700 block of Sass Road and going inside, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Deputies responded to the scene “following a 911 call of a person yelling and swearing at the caller,” Cole said. “Deputies arrived and found a window in an exterior door had been broken. It was reported the suspect had broken the window and gained entry into the residence. The victim and suspect do know each other but are not friends, and alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the incident.”

In a separate incident, a 34-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for damaging property following a 911 call of a disturbance Friday, June 21, shortly before 11:30 p.m. in the 5700 block of Limouze Road, Sheriff Cole said. “Arriving deputies found the female had allegedly broken a double-pane glass window.”

• 6:37 p.m., (MSP), a bottle of alcohol valued at $8.29 was stolen from Wesco, Pere Marquette Township. A complaint and warrant are being issued for retail fraud.
