Deputies busy with domestic violence incidents.

Mason County sheriff’s deputies handled two separate domestic violence incidents Thursday evening, June 20, with one resulting in an arrest and the other resulting in a warrant request, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

The first incident was reported at 7:07 p.m. in the 3800 block of West Kistler Road in Riverton Township. A warrant is being requested for a 27-year-old Ludington woman for domestic violence.

The second incident was reported at 9:28 p.m. in the 7100 block of Jagger Road in Hamlin Township. A 25-year-old Ludington man was arrested for domestic violence.

Both incidents were reported by 911 calls.

The following is other activity of the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Thursday, June 20, 2019:

  • 6:38 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Marrison Road east of Stiles Road, Riverton Township.
  • 11 a.m., one-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, Windward Forest Trail, Grant Township.
  • 2:50 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, Maple Road north of Emerson Lake Road, Branch Township.
  • 9:45 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 10 east of Gibson Road, Branch Township.
  • 10:10 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Chauvez Road east of Scottville Road, Eden Township.
  • 11:37 p.m., damaged property – vehicle and residence door, Lancer Lane, Hamlin Township. The victim reported his vehicle and front door to his residence were damaged.
