Ludington man arrested on contempt of court warrant.

AMBER TOWNSHIP — The Mason County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 37-year-old Ludington man Tuesday, June 19 for an outstanding contempt of court warrant out of Manistee County. The man was arrested following a traffic stop at US 31 and Hansen Road at 11:59 p.m.

Other activity of local law enforcement on June 19 included:

  • 6:37 a.m., Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injuries, Fountain Road east of US 31, Sherman Township.
  • 2:03 p.m., Ludington Police Department (LPD), larceny, 400 block of South Harrison Street.
  • 6:42 p.m., MCSO, larceny to a building, 8900 block of East US 10, Branch Township. Victim reported tools taken from his garage. Case remains under investigation.
  • 9:21 p.m., MCSO, car/deer crash, no injuries, US 31 and Ehler Road, Sherman Township.
  • 1:50 a.m., , MCSO, car/deer crash, no injuries, US10-31 east of Brye Road, Amber Township.
  • 6:56 a.m., MCSO, car/deer crash, no injuries, US 10 east of Bean Road, Custer Township.
  • 5:54 p.m., Gas drive off, $42, Wesco, 5685 W. US 10, Pere Marquette Township.
  • 9:45 p.m., MCSO, car/deer crash, no injuries, US 31 north of Oceana Drive, Summit Township.
