PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP – A 42-year-old Ludington man was arrested following a traffic stop Friday, June 7, at 10:38 p.m. for methamphetamine possession and second-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) at Wallace Road and Pere Marquette Highway, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

Friday, June 7, 2019:

7:35 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Scottville and Marrison roads, Eden Township.

2:58 p.m., two-vehicle crash, no injury, Benson Road north of US 10, Branch Township.

5:31 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive and Bertha Road, Pere Marquette Township.

8:14 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway north of Oceana Drive, Summit Township.

10:57 p.m., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 south of Meisenheimer Road, Summit Township.

Saturday, June 8, 2019:

12:54 a.m., a 47-year-old Shelby man was cited following a traffic stop for DWLS, US 10 and US 31, Amber Township.

1:30 a.m,., one-vehicle crash, no injury, Decker and Sherman roads, Hamlin Township.

6 a.m., c​ar/deer crash, no injury, Pere Marquette Highway and Sixth Street, Pere Marquette Township.

10:38 a.m., a 41-year-old Fountain man was arrested on an outstanding Mason County warrant following a traffic stop, Scottville and Johnson roads, Amber Township.

1:08 p.m., a 69-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for retail fraud following an investigation by the MCSO and Walmart Loss Prevention, Walmart, 4800 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.

3:13 p.m., a 24-year-old Manistee woman was arrested for second-offense retail fraud following an investigation by the MCSO and Walmart LP, Walmart, 4800 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township.

4:29 p.m., larceny of a tackle box, Aspen Road and Larson Road area of Whalen Lake, Branch Township. The victim reported his tackle box with assorted fishing tackle were stolen from his boat.

Sunday, June 9, 2019:

9:46 a.m., ​a 33-year-old Scottville woman was cited for DWLS following a traffic stop, First and Brye roads, Amber Township.

3:49 p.m., a 44-year-old Ludington woman was arrested for retail fraud following an investigation by the MCSO and Walmart LP, Walmart, 4800 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township),

6 p.m., one-vehicle hit-and-run crash, no injury, M 116 and Lakeshore Drive, Hamlin Township. A 23-year-old Ludington man was arrested for OWI following a one-vehicle crash. He left the scene but was located a short distance away after his vehicle became not drivable.

Monday, June 10, 2019:

6:10 a.m., car/deer crash, no injury, Walhalla Road south of Barothy Road, Branch Township.

11:54 am., car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 freeway near Meisenheimer Road, Summit Township.
