Police investigate storage unit breakins.

CUSTER TOWNSHIP – The Michigan State Police, Hart post, is investigating a breaking and entering to four storage units on US 10 that was reported Thursday, May 30, at 2 p.m.

The intruder(s) cut the locks to gain access, said Sgt. Charles Hockanson, and several times were stolen. No other information was immediately available.

– 5:54 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), car/deer crash, no injury, Custer and Millerton roads, Sherman Township.

– 12:26 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Sixth east of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.

– 6:58 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 22-year-old Ludington man was arrested for fleeing and eluding, 400 block of East Foster Street, City of Ludington.

– 9:01 p.m., (MSP), a 50-year-old Fountain man was arrested for assault and on an outstanding warrant, 2000 block of Benson Road, Sheridan Township.

– 9:34 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Jebavy Drive and Fountain Road, Hamlin Township.

– 9:45 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, US 31 south of Free Soil Road Free Soil Township.

– 10:40 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Brye Road north of Washington Road, Riverton Township.
