PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP – a 23-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Michigan State Police troopers from the Hart post for operating while intoxicated at US 10 and Pere Marquette Highway Wednesday, May 29, at 10:43 p.m. He was lodged in the Mason County Jail.

The following is other police activity in Mason County Wednesday, May 29, 2019:

– 5:10 a.m., (Mason County Sheriff’s Office), alarm activation, Hamlin Township.

– 6 a.m., (MCSO), larceny of a jacket, 5500 block of West US 10, Pere Marquette Township. The case is under investigation.

– 7:48 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 east of Jackson Road, Pere Marquette Township.

– 1:39 p.m., (MCSP), two-vehicle crash, minor injury, US 10 west of Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.

– 9:43 p.m., (MSP), car/deer crash, US 31 and Hawley Road, Summit Township.
