Ludington man arrested for prowling.

LUDINGTON – A 31-year-old Ludington man was arrested for prowling Thursday, May 23, shortly before 5:30 a.m. in the 200 block of North Danaher Street, according to the Ludington Police Department.

The incident was originally called in as a breaking and entering in progress. No other information was immediately available.

In another case, Michigan State Police troopers were dispatched to investigate a breaking and entering of three locked storage units Thursday shortly before 2:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Pere Marquette Highway in Pere Marquette Township, said MSP Sgt. Charles Hockanson. The case remains under investigation.

Other police activity Thursday, May 23, 2019 includes:

– 12:04 a.m., (LPD), a 29-year-old Ludington woman and a 33-year-old man were both arrested for assault, 300 block of North Rath Avenue, City of Ludington.

– 12:57 a.m., ​(Mason County Sheriff’s Office), a 33-year-old Ludington man was arrested on two outstanding Friend of the Court warrants from Lake County, 6000 block of Barnhardt Road, Hamlin Township.

– 5 p.m., ​(MCSO), a 37-year-old Walhalla man was arrested on a parole detainer, 7000 block East Sandra Kay Road, Branch Township.

– 9:40 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Hawley Road east of Morton Road, Riverton Township

– 11:50 p.m., (MCSO), gas drive-off, $37 in fuel stolen, 100 East State Street, City of Scottville.
