79th District Court sentencings, posted May 22, 2019.

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Alicia Marie Talmadge, 30, of 711 E. Danaher St., Apt. 3, Ludington, pleaded no contest May 15 to aggravated assault domestic violence and was sentenced to 46 days in jail with credit for 46 days served; one year discretionary jail for two years; must seek and maintain employment; no contact with the victim or the victim’s children; no drugs/alcohol/marijuana; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; must complete outpatient substance abuse and domestic violence counseling; and $1,365 in fines/costs. A charge of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder was dismissed.

-Tyler Alexander McEachern, 29, of 1891 N. US 31, Victory Township, pleaded guilty May 21 to operating a vehicle while impaired by liquor (OWIL) and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must complete alcohol highway safety education; and $970 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to Secretary of State (SOS).

-Scott Donald Davis, 32, of 927 N. Washington Ave., Ludington, pleaded guilty May 21 to OWIL and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must complete alcohol highway safety education; and $895 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Jeremiah Jacob Tauchus, 30, of 209 Crowley St., Scottville, pleaded guilty May 21 to OWIL and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend victim’s impact panel; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs; must complete alcohol highway safety education; and $970 in fines/costs. Conviction is reportable to SOS.

-Richard Lee Beck, 46, of 214 E. Second St., Scottville, pleaded no contest May 21 to breaking and entering and was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served; 90 days discretionary jail for one year; no contact with the victim; and $285 in fines/costs.
