Stratford on the Avenue auditions scheduled.

LUDINGTON — Auditions for the fourth annual Stratford on the Avenue Theatre Festival will be held on Sunday, May 19 from 4 to 5:30 .p.m and on Monday, May 20 from 7to 8:30 p.m. at the Mason County District Library Ludington branch. The May 19 auditions will be held in the library’s West Shore Bank Room and the May 20 auditions will be in the Rotary Room.

Seasoned and new actors as young as age 7 are encouraged to audition. Those wishing to audition are asked to arrive at the starting time and plan to stay for the duration of the auditions.

The festival will be held on July 26 to 28 and August 2 to 4 at Rotary Park. Friday and Saturday performances will be at 7 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. This year’s main stage play is “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, with a comedic adaptation of “Othello” as the opener.

The festival is a fundraiser for a different non-profit organization each year with this year’s proceeds benefiting Habitat for Humanity.
