LUDINGTON – After a competitive request for proposals process, the Michigan Historic Preservation Network awarded the City of Ludington the opportunity to complete its Community Assessment program.  This assessment is an initiative of the Michigan Historic Preservation Network, with funding and support from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority and the State Historic Preservation Office.  The assessment is intended to provide the community with a snapshot of its current historic preservation ethic and efforts and create a blueprint of recommendations and resources for advancing historic preservation in the community.  

Part of the Community Assessment includes opening up an online survey to the community members to capture the perception of historic preservation in the present and thoughts for the future.  Any resident can access the survey from any computer at the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LudingtonCommunityQuestionnaire.  The survey is open until June 17, 2019.

The findings will be presented at a public presentation on the evening of Wednesday, June 26.  Further details will be provided soon.
