Salute to the Armed Forces Dance at Free Soil Community Center Saturday.

FREE SOIL — The Free Soil Area Senior Center will hold a Salute to the Armed Forces Dance on Saturday, May 18 from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Free Soil Community Center on North Democrat Street. The event will feature guest speaker Sawyer Hendrickson to discuss Kids with a Cause, a buffet at 6 p.m. and dancing beginning at 7 p.m. Music will be provided by Sound Waves Next Generation. There will also be 50/50 raffles, door prizes, raffles, and photographs. Admission is $10 donation per person; veterans and active military free.

The Ludington American Legion will hold a flag ceremony which will include the Star Spangled Banner and also the Armed Forces branch songs and a prayer before the 6 p.m. buffet. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
