Third-offense DWLS, meth arrests top police activity.

PERE MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP – A 27-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies following a traffic stop on a charge of third-offense driving while license suspended (DWLS) and on a failure to appear warrant issued by the Michigan State Police, Hart Post, Wednesday, May 1, shortly after 3 p.m. at Pere Marquette Highway and Sixth Street.

In a separate incident, a 42-year-old Ludington man was arrested by Mason County sheriff’s deputies on a felony warrant issued by the Manistee Police Department charging possession of methamphetamine Wednesday at 6:05 p.m. in the 2600 block of North Peterson Road in Victory Township, according to Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole.

5:57 p.m., (Ludington Police Department), a 25-year-old Ludington woman was cited for driving an unregistered vehicle, South Madison and East Fourth streets, City of Ludington.

Wednesday, May 1, 2019:

9:26 a.m., (MCSO), two-vehicle crash, no injury, US 10 and Pere Marquette Highway, Pere Marquette Township.

5:48 p.m., (MCSO), alarm activation, City of Scottville.

9:17 p.m., (MCSO), car/deer crash, no injury, Scottville Road south of Conrad Road, Custer Township.

9:41 p.m., (MCSO), larceny of a purse from a vehicle, 200 block of North Columbia Street, City of Scottville.

9:43 p.m., (MCSO), a 50-year-old Wellston woman was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear, US 31 and Countyline Road, Grant Township. The original charges are assault with a weapon and forgery.
