Obituary: Richard Quinn, 79, Scottville.

Richard L. Quinn, 79, of Scottville and formerly of Fowlerville, peacefully passed away at home on Friday, April 12, 2019.

Richard was born on November 23, 1939 in Detroit, the son of Liall and Margaret Quinn.  He graduated from Pershing High School of Detroit in 1958 and married Rose Marie Barchi.  Richard was employed by F.J. Boutel Carriers as an over-the-road truck driver. He retired in 2001 after 35 years of service.  Richard was a member of the Fin and Feather Club of Mason County. He enjoyed golf and socializing with friends and family.

Richard is survived by his children, Deborah Anderson (Timothy Morris) South Chicago Heights Ill. and Rick (Stephanie) Quinn Pentwater; grandchildren, Candi McLachlan (Debra Spears), Renee (Jeremy) Aldrich, Diane Draper, Ashley (Josh) Longstreet, Tyler Quinn, and Jacob Quinn; and several great-grandchildren.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie Quinn and children, Daniel Quinn, Roseann Saint Aubin, and Patrick John Quinn.

As per Richard’s wishes there will be no services.
