Season road weight restrictions lifted April 22.

SCOTTVILLE — The Mason County Road Commission has announced that seasonal weight restrictions will be lifted on Monday, April 22, at 7 a.m. Weight restrictions have been in effect since March 13.

All county roads have been restricted by reducing the maximum axle load by 35% per axel and truck speeds to 35 mph. Weight and speed restrictions have been enforced to minimize the damage caused during Michigan’s seasonal thaw.
