Conservation District tree sale orders underway.

SCOTTVILLE — The annual Mason-Lake Conservation District is taking orders for its annual spring tree sale. The sale offers a variety of native and non-invasive species of trees and shrubs. Tree tubes, animal repellent and several other items are also available.

Orders will be due by Friday, March 29. Pick-up is Friday, April 26 from 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturday, April 27, 9 a.m. to noon at the Mason County Fairgrounds Community Building.  Pick-up will also be available in Baldwin for fully paid orders on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Wenger Pavilion behind Examples of this tree sale fundraiser revenue being put to use in our area this year include tree plantings with local school groups, as well as a paid internship opportunity for two and four year college students to help restore the Pere Marquette River and to survey/treat invasive plants -see www.mason-lakeconservation.org for application.
