79th District Court sentencings, posted March 14, 2019.

LUDINGTON — The following were recently sentenced in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

-Sabrina Kay West, 27, of 5798 W. Sixth St., Mears, pleaded guilty Mar. 6 to attempted assault/resisting/obstructing a police officer and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; 180 days discretionary jail for one year; no drugs/alcohol; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $760 in fines/costs.

-Bernard Joe Bovee, 45, of 6590 E. Beech St., Sheridan Township, pleaded guilty Mar. 7 to illegal disposal of solid waste and was sentenced to pay $185 in fines/costs.

-Alfonso Gabriel-Cuitlahuac Lopez, 19, of 605 S. Washington Ave., Ludington, pleaded guilty Mar. 7 to driving while unlicensed and was sentenced to 30 days discretionary jail for one year; 12 months of probation and $275 in fines/costs.

-Betty Ann Savich, 63, of 4615 S. Tyndall Rd., Logan Township, pleaded guilty Mar. 11 to sell/use/loaning license to another person and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year and hunting privileges revoked until Jan. 2021. A second count of sell/use/loaning license to another person was dismissed.

-James Neal Savich, 68, of 4615 S. Tyndall Rd., Logan Township, pleaded guilty Mar. 11 to sell/use/loaning license to another person and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year; 12 months of probation; hunting privileges revoked until Jan. 2021 and $250 in fines/costs. A second count of sell/use/loaning license to another person was dismissed.

-Loren Christopher Finkbeiner, 42, of 20938 Mill St., Reed City, pleaded guilty Mar. 11 to allowing a person to drive in violation of the motor vehicle code and was sentenced to 90 days discretionary jail for one year; 12 months of probation and $335 in fines/costs.
