Drug charges top 79th District Court arraignments

LUDINGTON — The following were recently arraigned in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

Felonies

Franklin

-Nicholas Duane Franklin, 31, of 5140 N. Dennis Rd., Victory Township, was arrested Feb. 13 by the State, Sheriff, and City Enforcement of Narcotic Team (SSCENT) on felony charges of delivery/manufacturing methamphetamine and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Preliminary hearing: Feb. 27 at 3 p.m. Bail: $25,000/10 percent.

-Anthony Joseph Brock, 34, of 4654 W. M-32, Gaylord, was arrested June 4, 2018 by SSCENT on felony charges of delivery/manufacturing a controlled substance and fourth offense habitual offender. Preliminary hearing: Feb. 27 at 3 p.m. Bail: $15,000 cash/surety.

Hill

-Michael James Hill, 30, of 371 W. Main St., Hart, was arrested August 18, 2018 by Ludington Police Department (LPD) on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance (narcotics) and a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct. Preliminary hearing: Feb. 27 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $5,000 personal recognizance.

Dodson

-Robb Ray Dodson, 53, of 6925 E. Bockstanz Rd., Branch Township, was arrested Feb. 13 by the Mason County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on a felony charge of resisting/assaulting/obstructing a police officer. Preliminary hearing: Feb. 27 at 3 p.m. Bail: $3,500/10 percent.

Misdemeanors

-Austin James Remenak, 20, of 2749 N. Tuttle Rd., Sherman Township; Feb. 13; LPD; domestic violence. Pretrial: Mar. 11 at 1:45 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Breanna Helen Kist, 20, of 2685 E. Hawley Rd., Eden Township; Feb. 12; MCSO; domestic violence. Pretrial: Mar. 11 at 9:45 a.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Terry Martin Tjapkes, 39, of 4110 S. Harvard Ave., Baldwin; Dec. 9; MCSO; operating while intoxicated (OWI). Pretrial: Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. Bail: $2,500 personal recognizance.

-Travis Alan Vorase, 25, of 1567 W. Meisenheimer Rd., Riverton Township; Feb. 16; MCSO; OWI. Pretrial: Mar. 18 at 1:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Brennan Todd Morley, 18, of 1136 Brady Ln., Pere Marquette Township; Feb. 10; MCSO; OWI. Pretrial: Mar. 4 at 2:30 p.m. Bail: $2,500/10 percent.

-Christopher Lloyd Rosenow, 40, of 451 W. Freesoil Rd., Grant Township; Feb. 8; LPD; driving while license suspended (DWLS). Pretrial: Mar. 4 at 10:45 a.m. Bail: $1,500 personal recognizance.

-Roger Dean Newton, 33, of 712 E. Chauvez Rd., Custer Township; Feb. 8; MCSO; DWLS. Pretrial: Mar. 11 at 11:15 a.m. Bail: $1,500 personal recognizance.
