No mail Wednesday.

No mail Wednesday.

There will be no mail delivery Wednesday. The US Postal Service announced Tuesday night that it is cancelling all deliveries for zip codes beginning with 486 through 491 and 493 through 499, an area that includes most of western Michigan.

Mail will still be delivered in Jackson, Flint and Detroit.

The closure is due to the extreme cold temperatures forecasted.

Deliveries have also been canceled in parts of Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, the Dakotas and Nebraska.
