Scottville Optimist Tri-Star Basketball Competition Wednesday.

SCOTTVILLE — The Scottville Optimist Club is hosting a Tri-Star Basketball Competition on Wednesday, Jan. 9 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Mason County Central Upper Elementary gym. The competition is open to any MCC student ages 8 to 13. Entry is free and on-site registration is available.

Boys and girls will compete in separate age groups — 8-9, 10-11, 12-13 and medals will be awarded to the top three places in each group. Participants must have a signature from parent or guardian to enter the contest. Family is welcome to watch.
