Andersen becomes first woman to be county chair.

LUDINGTON — Janet Andersen was elected chair of the Mason County Board of Commissioners Tuesday during the board’s regular monthly meeting, making Andersen the first woman to lead the board in the county’s 165 year history. Andersen is the District 6 commissioner, representing the northern portion of the county. Steve Hull, District 5 commissioner, was elected vice chair.
