LUDINGTON – The following were sentenced recently in Mason County’s 79th District Court:

– Jonathon Aubrey Johnson, 47, of 3677 S. Pere Marquette Hwy., Pere Marquette Township, was found guilty Nov. 6 of second-offense larceny less than $200 and was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for three days served; one year discretionary jail for two years; and $595 in fines and costs. Restitution is reserved. Charges of breaking and entering a building with intent, improper use of lights and larceny in a building were dismissed.

– Jeremy Ray Parker, 39, of 203 Crowley St., Scottville, was found guilty Oct. 3 of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and was sentenced Nov. 6 to 90 days in jail. Charges of assault and battery and accosting children for immoral purposes were dismissed.

– Brian Keith Petro, 33, of 1101 S. Madison St., Ludington, was found guilty Nov. 7 of larceny less than $200 and was sentenced 93 days in jail and $100 in fines and costs.

– Quashenda Arlette Williams, 39, of 241 Carrier, Grand Rapids, was found guilty Nov. 7 of driving while license suspended (DWLS) and was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; and $285 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to the Secretary of State (SOS).

– Thomas Steven Wells, 55, of 19692 Nottingham, Downs, Illinois, was found guilty Nov. 6 of operating while intoxicated (OWI) and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; outpatient treatment; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must complete 10 hours of Driving Under the Influence Risk Education; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random preliminary breath tests (PBTs); and $1,095 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Timothy Stephen Murphy, 50, of 5067 Monroe Rd., Pentwater, was found guilty Nov. 6 of third-degree retail fraud and was sentenced to $595 in fines and costs.

– Elizabeth Healy Andrews, 24, of 100 S. Wildwood Crossing, Amber Township, was found guilty Nov. 6 of operating while impaired and was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served; outpatient treatment; 93 days discretionary jail for one year; must attend the next session of the Victims’ Impact Panel; no alcohol/drugs; and $895 in fines and costs. Conviction reportable to SOS.

– Benjamin Daniel Letts, 41, of 3643 James Rd., Baldwin, was found guilty Nov. 6 of disorderly person – jostling and was sentenced to $285 in fines and costs. One count of domestic violence was dismissed.

– Kayle Nicole Young, 23, of 1908 Wood St., Muskegon, was found guilty Sept. 26 of controlled substance use and was sentenced Nov. 6 to 30 days in jail with credit for four days served; driver’s license suspended one year/restricted after 60 days; one year discretionary jail for two years; no alcohol/drugs; subject to random PBTs and drug tests; and $595 in fines and costs. Charges of controlled substance – double penalty, marijuana possession and methamphetamine/ecstasy possession were dismissed.
