Scottville Mayor Bruce Krieger was sworn into office for his second consecutive term Monday.

SCOTTVILLE — Bruce Krieger was re-elected mayor Monday during the Scottville City Commission’s organizational meeting; Marcy Spencer was re-elected mayor pro-tem. Scottville’s commission elects its mayor and mayor pro-tem every two years, both are also elected commissioners who vote on matters that come before the commission. Krieger was recently elected as a second ward commissioner, serving previously as commissioner-at-large. He was elected mayor in 2016 and also in the early 1970s. Spencer was re-elected as second ward commissioner as well. Sally Cole was re-elected as commissioner-at-large and Rob Alway was elected as commissioner-at-large.

The commission will hold its next regular meeting on Monday, Nov. 18 at 5:30 p.m. at city hall, 105 N. Main St.
